Introduction

The following guide has been designed to enable creators to build performant worlds for the Vatom Spaces platform, using the open-source 3D modelling and animation software Blender.

Steps

There are only a few steps to follow to turn your ideas into reality:

  1. Create GLB models directly in Blender
  2. Import GLB models into your Space
  3. Adjusting looks to make sure textures look correct
  4. Optimizing your Space by adhering to the scene limitations and checking the health monitor

We look forward to seeing what you can create!

Note: Please make sure to test your Space with the upcoming Babylon changes. You can do this by adding ?v=babylon to the end of your Space URL. For example if your space is @myspace, the URL would be https://spaces.vatom.com/@myspace?v=babylon
